Cookie Policy

Last updated: 16 June 2026

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies rufly uses, why, and how you can control them.

You can change your choices whenever you like. .

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels. Together we call these 'cookies' in this policy. They help the site work, remember your choices, keep you signed in, and, with your consent, help us understand and improve how the site is used.

Cookies can be 'session' cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or 'persistent' cookies, which stay until they expire or you delete them. They can be set by us ('first-party') or by a provider acting for us ('third-party').

2. The categories we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

Required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They include keeping you signed in, securing your session, processing checkout, and remembering your cookie preferences. Without these the Service won't work properly.

Functional & preferences

Remember choices you make to personalise your experience, such as your preferred display currency. These are optional and only set with your consent.

Analytics

Help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These are optional and only set if you allow them.

Marketing

Used to measure and improve marketing. We do not currently use marketing cookies, and none are set unless you opt in. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent.

3. Examples of cookies and storage we set

  • Authentication / session, keeps you securely signed in to your account (strictly necessary).
  • Cookie consent, remembers the preferences you set here so we don't ask every visit (strictly necessary).
  • Currency preference, remembers whether you view prices in EUR or USD (functional).
  • Security / fraud prevention, helps protect your account and our checkout (strictly necessary).

Some of these are stored using your browser's local storage rather than traditional cookies, but they serve the same purposes and are covered by this policy.

4. Third-party providers

Some cookies may be set by trusted providers who deliver parts of the Service on our behalf, such as our payment processor (to process payments securely and prevent fraud) and our infrastructure providers. These providers process data under their own policies and our contracts with them.

5. Managing your preferences

You're in control of optional cookies. Use the button below to open your cookie settings and turn categories on or off at any time. You can also find this option in the site footer.

You can additionally control cookies through your browser settings, for example to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies evolves. When changes are material we will update the 'last updated' date and, where required, ask for your consent again. For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
